The session will provide learners with a nuanced understanding of the role of addiction medicine physicians as advocates. Viewers will obtain an understanding of a range of opportunities for advocacy, including for individual patients, at institutions, and at broader city, state and national levels, and concrete ideas for how to get more involved in advocacy.
