This conference is aimed at raising awareness, understanding addictive illness, and learning effective interventions and treatments for this chronic illness. The attendees will be able to explain growing past the myth of codependency, increase knowledge of how to employ the highest standard of ethical and HIPPA compliance, understand pain and addiction, trauma and addiction, barriers to treatment and telehealth, treating adolescent addiction, professional burnout and so much more. Our goal is to educate and provide resources to the addiction professional, counselor and allied health professionals regarding the Chronic Disease of Addiction, intervention, and appropriate treatment options available.
